Plan Ahead for the Annual Space Coast Paddlers Picnic!  

June 9th is the picnic date, and fun is on the schedule.  Good food, good camaraderie, a fun poker run and maybe a prize or two, enjoying the day at Ballard Park in Melbourne.  Fun starts at 9 AM, we'll fire up the grills around 11 AM. So, put the date on your calendar, and check often for updates.  If you would like to help with the planning, contact one of the club officers.  

 

CPR and First Aid Training Survey

Improving paddling abilities and safety are SCP goals; the club has the opportunity to arrange for member training in the newest CPR techniques and First Aid.  Both skills could be life savers and well worth the commitment to learn or refresh these skills.

**   Over the past few weeks the lives of several paddlers have been threatened when their boats swamped, were overturned, and blown far off course; this could happen to anyone and the consequenses could be fatal without proper life-saving skills.  

        Take the Survey and help plan this great life saving opportunity.
